Looks Important

Looks Important

Turn your iPad into a serious-looking control screen. It does nothing important, but it looks like it does.

App Store Coming Soon View Screens

Designed for landscape iPad. Best enjoyed on a desk, in a meeting, or at a cafe.

Preview

Open the app. The iPad looks occupied.

The first impression is intentionally simple: app icon, name, short promise, and a clear App Store status. After that, the page shows the dramatic screens and the joke behind them.

The honest pitch

A fake pro dashboard, built with real commitment.

Looks Important is not a calculator, not a satellite console, and not a secret trading terminal. It is a beautifully overbuilt ambient iPad screen for anyone who wants their desk to look a little more dramatic.

Looks busy instantlyOpen the app and the screen becomes dense with panels, graphs, numbers, warnings, and vague urgency.
Made for iPadEvery screen is designed around landscape iPad use, with dark OLED-friendly visuals.
No setup requiredThere is nothing to configure. Pick a mode, place the iPad down, and let it look useful.
Completely unseriousThe UI looks operational. The actual purpose is atmosphere.

Six modes

Choose the kind of important you want to look.

Each mode fills the iPad with a different flavor of convincing nonsense: signals, models, markets, dollars, orbitals, and archives.

Signal Room screen in Looks Important

Signal Room

Something is being received. Probably. The lights are on and the panels agree.

Model Monitor screen in Looks Important

Model Monitor

Looks like an AI system is being watched closely. The model is emotionally fine.

Market Ghost screen in Looks Important

Market Ghost

Reads like a trading desk. Do not make financial decisions from this screen.

Dollar Desk screen in Looks Important

Dollar Desk

Money appears to be moving. No actual money is moved by the app.

Orbital Weather screen in Looks Important

Orbital Weather

Space weather, terminal panels, and the calm confidence of a fictional mission.

Deep Archive screen in Looks Important

Deep Archive

Looks like classified recovery work. There are no classified files. Probably.

Who is this for?

  • People who bought an iPad Pro and want it to look Pro.
  • People who want a desk display that looks oddly serious.
  • People who enjoy being asked, “What is that app?”
  • People who know this is useless and still understand the value.

The one-line summary

It has no important function, but it does not look like it has no important function.

The Korean phrase says it plainly: 멋있어보려고만든화면.

Coming soon

Put it on the desk. Look occupied.

Looks Important is being prepared for the App Store. Until then, this page shows exactly what the app is trying to do.
